No bathroom at park.

 

Weather Policy: 

The Recreation Department reserves the right to close the dog park should weather/park conditions warrant. The closures will last until the park is in proper working condition.  Notifications of closures will be made through Coomes Center's Twitter page.  

 

Directions:

Located on the Grounds of the Harry L. Coomes Recreation Center. From I-81 North, use Exit 19, turn left onto Highway 11 towards Abingdon OR From I-81, use Exit 19, turn right onto Highway 11 towards Abingdon, THEN approximately 1.5 miles turn right at 2 signal light onto Thompson Drive, go through first light up the hill turn right onto Stanley Street, follow the road around past the entrance to the Coomes Recreation Center to the bottom of the hill, turn right onto Walden Road, park is located 2/10th of mile on right.
